The call for new startups is on!
Jojy Azurin, Horsepower.ph founder and CEO has posted on the Facebook group Startup PH the call for all university-based, university-bred or university-incubated startups to join the local leg of the ASEAN Startup Campus Accelerator (ASCA).
There is a chance to go on an all-expense paid trip to KL next week wherein the Philippines is touted to be part of the top three startups during the competition.
Partyphile.com, Founder Institute (Manila Chapter) and 1000 Angels are helping promote the Manila leg for the ASEAN Startup Campus Accelerator.
In conjunction with the 1 ASEAN Entrepreneur Summit to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 16th – 22nd November 2015, people at Watch Tower and Friends (who also runs a premier Tech Accelerator in Malaysia) is organizing the first ever ASEAN Startup Campus Accelerator (ASCA) program.
This one week accelerator program is designed specifically for students and alumni originating from university campuses across Southeast Asia.
In the hopes to connect with startup founders, ecosystem leaders and evangelists who are interested in the ASCA program, there will be a special event being organized by representatives of ASCA in Manila. Tentative venue will be at the U.P. National Engineering Center at 4pm,Thursday, November 5, 2015. (Online application extended till November 7!)
At this event they will share more information about the program as well as have a special talk about the journey of startups with one of our mentors, along with a special 1-on-1 clinic for those who register early. So come on over for a fantastic afternoon with fellow startup founders.
It is absolutely free of charge to apply, and selected teams will have the opportunity to attend ASCA on an all-expense paid trip to Kuala Lumpur.
In addition to being hosted in Kuala Lumpur on an all expense paid trip for one week, successful applicants will also get access to:
