Plus, dead trees are simply not aesthetically pleasing. You’ve spent good money on landscaping, so don’t counteract your efforts by leaving a dead tree in the yard. Plus, if you’re ever trying to sell your home, curb appeal will bring in more attention and more cash. There is also the problem of tree disease, which is contagious. If a tree died from, or is dying from, a tree disease then other plants can contract the same disease.
All of a sudden, all of your beautiful plants are dying. The tree will have a powdery mildew on its branches and trunks. The leaves will become yellow or lime green–which, is a symptom of chlorosis. If flowers and other trees were planted nearby, they might catch the same disease.
Another problem is branches falling, especially during a windy day or in a storm. Imagine large branches falling on your home or even into your windows. If people or animals walk under the tree, they could suffer a serious injury or worse due to a falling and heavy branch.
