Pharmacies have always played an important role in maintaining the health of society, especially when it comes to the adverse impact of coronavirus. How To Safely Return To Work After Lockdown 2020 - Negosentro

Negosentro| How To Safely Return To Work After Lockdown |At some point, ideally in the not too distant future, businesses will start to reopen after the lockdown that the coronavirus – or COVID-19 to give the virus its proper name – enforced. This may even already be happening where you are. The problem is that, although this is a great thing for the economy, and for the businesses themselves, which may have had many weeks without any income, it can also be worrying. We do all still need to keep safe, and that can be difficult to do when you have a business to run.

If you are concerned about how you can open up safely after lockdown and how your employees can return safely to work, or if you are an employee who wants to make sure their workplace is safe, here are some things to look out for.

Cleaning and Sanitizing

Before anyone can return to the workplace, the offices and other spaces should be thoroughly deep cleaned, with coronavirus disinfection being carried out as a main priority. This must be done by experts to ensure it is carried out to a high enough standard to keep everyone safe.

The cleaning and sanitizing of the workplace should also be carried out regularly, even when offices, stores, and other workplaces are open again. The cleaner a space is, the safer it is, and that means that not only will staff be happy to return, but customers will also feel confident in going back to you and spending money with you again.

Social Distancing

Something else that should be done in order to ensure that your workspace is a safe one to return to after lockdown measures are eased is social distancing. There should be sufficient space between each work station to ensure that no one has to come into contact with anyone else in close proximity – at least six feet should be left between each person. This might mean moving some desks and using additional rooms to ensure everyone has somewhere to work. Alternatively, it could mean having some people working from home, perhaps on a rotating business, if space is at a premium.

In some places, such as stores and other customer-facing services, screens may be put up for the protection of both the employee and the customer. This can be unnerving, so training may be required, and signs can be installed to alert your customers to the fact that they will see screens.

Health Screening To ensure you are your employees and customers are completely safe, you might also want to implement health screening. This does not need to be done by a healthcare professional since it simply consists of a temperature check as people come into work. Anyone with a fever (or who is heard coughing or is short of breath) can be asked to go home, which will keep everyone else safe. It’s true that these people may not have coronavirus, but it’s a chance that no one is going to want to take.
