Celebrating their scrumptious success, the International School for Culinary Arts and Hotel Management (ISCAHM) –Quezon City held an open house last November 14 for aspiring culinary students.
The program started with Chef Norbert Gandler, the Executive Director for Culinary Arts delivering his warm welcome for their guests. The open house held talks about the school’s engagements, career opportunities with the courses they offer, which include Diploma in Culinary and Kitchen Management with Australian Certificate III in Culinary Arts, Diploma in Pastry and Bakery Arts and Kitchen Management with Australian Certificate III in Patisserie, Fundamentals in Bread Baking, Fundamentals in Culinary Arts, NCII Certificate in Bread and Pastry Production and many more, as well as the assurance of having their students properly guided to the right direction of choosing their profession.
With that, some of ISCAHM alumni also proudly shared their story; how the institution helped them to prosper as individuals and becoming the professionals they are today. Chef Carlo Jayme, an alumnus ofISCAHM even shared his meaningful experience back in the day all the way from the US. Now living his American dream, he shared how ISCAHM was able to help him realize what he truly wants to become. “With the school’s undeniable credibility and high standards, I’ve seen the institution as the passport in reaching my dreams”, he said. Through the institution’s support and assistance, he came to know that by failing so many times, you also learn a lot of things. Along with the hardships, those experience will eventually make you tougher and better.
Chef instructors of the institution also gave encouragements and inspiring lessons for their current and future students to advocate in pursuing their culinary dreams. With the employment of modern technology and keeping in touch with the current trends to promote and strengthen the basics as principal foundation advancement in the industry, being with the right institution can make your dreams possible. Providing a safe, caring, harmonious and stimulating learning environment that values respect vitality and diversity of cultures.
The event entailed a raffle with the prize of having the privilege of taking Intermediate courses in ISCAHM for free like Fundamentals in Culinary Arts and Fundamentals in Pastry Arts. These prizes were given to six lucky winners. The attendees had the chance to see the actual classes of the students.
They also were also guided across different kitchen classrooms right before they enjoyed mouthwatering lunch prepared by ISCAHM students themselves.
Even Kapuso actor, Mike Tan seemed to have been captivated by the art of cooking as he was also spotted attending the open house.
Over the years, ISCAHM have continuously thrived to satisfy the palate of its clients in the industry and be recognized as one of the most specialized culinary schools here in the Philippines due to its excellent student body and faculty and its proficiency in teaching European curriculum which made it even more possible for many Filipinos and international students to build better career opportunities and a more promising future not only here in the Philippines, as well as abroad.
