With the rising number of incidents here in the Philippines caused by climate change, it’s timely to make an action. An action that would help our Mother Nature. And, since our country has a higher chance of getting hit by a storm due to climate change, every one of us is responsible.
If you want to know more of the problem we are facing, take time to learn about this phenomenon in the upcoming convention – “PCGA – The Force Awakens, Climate Change Wars.” Happening on May 27 to 28 at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center from 9:00 AM to 12:00 midnight, the first PCGA expo would highlight the problems and risks involved in climate change as well as the ongoing plans and programs of the Department of Agriculture Systems Wide Climate Change Office (DASWCCO).
PCGA is a service-oriented, uniformed, voluntary organization. It is a non-government, non-political organization whose membership adheres to the Philippine Coast Guard’s (PCG) customs and traditions. Its organizational structure is parallel to PCG and has its own chain of leadership and management.
