Processes like printing, photocopying, and preparing for meetings may seem like simple, day-to-day tasks. But they play a big part in functioning more efficiently in the workplace.

Instead of doing multiple procedures to get the job done, imagine if singular machines can print on various materials and bind them together for you, or be able to digitally send important illustrations made on the whiteboard to the participants of your meeting.

This style of working is ideal – and now possible – with global imaging and electronics leader RICOH’s innovative technologies.

For one, RICOH’s Multi-Function Printer (MFP) models MP C2004SP and MP C4504SP can print on many types of papers such as those used for business cards, brochures, flyers, and print banners as well that are up to 320mm x 1260mm or more than four feet long.

Interacting with these equipment is as simple as using smart phones because of their 10.1” Smart Operation Panel. MFP also automatically binds sets of five printed pages together without the need for staple wire. An in-built Human Detector Sensor also wakes up the machines from sleep mode as soon as a user is nearby. The 0.5 second switch on time is the fastest in its class.

Moreover, they can convert a scanned page to text or PDF. By accessing RICOH’s Integrated Cloud Enterprise Solutions, documents can be scanned and emailed, or directly be saved in a folder or cloud storage such as Google Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote.

As enablers for cost efficiency, the machines’ EZ Charger Xpress software customizes automated cost charging, so a limit on the usage level can be set for the different users of the printers. It offers full document management, including archiving, as well.

Meanwhile, RICOH’s network projectors can show 3D images, have a built-in speaker to play audio, and up to four mobile devices can wirelessly project images simultaneously.

A perfect pair with the projector is the Interactive White Board. Multiple conference participants can make annotations on a projected image or content remotely and at the same time. It can also save, e-mail or print what is written on the board.

RICOH’s line of printers and photocopiers, projectors, videoconferencing devices, and other products are all brought about through the company’s overarching principle of “Workstyle Innovation Technology” which is a vision to offer more creative and time-saving solutions to make work more convenient and easier for busy, modern-day workers and professionals.

“As the economy and market become more competitive, industries are even more so geared towards cost efficiency and productive workflows. RICOH continuously streamlines technology and processes to help companies meet the needs of these changing times,” noted Eric Sulit, president and CEO of RICOH Philippines.

Demonstrations featuring its products and how they can benefit users were conducted in a series of hands-on pocket sessions held for various industries, most recent of which is the one organized for manufacturing companies situated around the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) area in Laguna.

RICOH’s products reflecting its Workstyle Innovation Technology can be seen at its branches located in Metro Manila (865-9500), ), Laguna ((045)-502-7243), and Cebu ((032) 256-4559).
