Sanitary Care Products Asia (SCPA) Celebrates Silver with Partnership with AIM

Sanitary Care Products Asia (SCPA) Celebrates Silver with Partnership with AIM | Sanitary Care Products Asia’s credo is about being a successful company through its people. SCPA, a homegrown hygiene company, pays it forward as they began their silver year during a virtual event last March 18.

Throughout its 25 years of making homegrown brands for Filipinos like Sanicare, Femme, Tisyu, Cheers, Naturale, and Jade, “Great love for what we do and therefore the people we roll in the hay for,” has been the running mantra of the corporate.

Faithful to the present commitment, SCPA Chairman and Founder Mr. Renato Sio and President Mr. Venjosef Sio announced their plans to enable Filipino dreams alongside the Asian Institute of Management-Dado Banatao Incubator (AIM-DBI). They’re going to collaborate to celebrate Sanitary Care Products Asia’s silver anniversary through an initiative that empowers the new breed of Filipino business leaders, called the Human Investment x Impact Grant for Entrepreneurship and Empowerment or, simply, HIIGENE.

The HIIGENE program is about providing opportunities to deserving start-ups to accelerate Filipino businesses. This is often the primary time that AIM-DBI will emphasize people management philosophy as their top criterion, fully integrating SCPA’s DNA within the program. It will be anchored within the Sio family’s legacy of a people-first philosophy, inspiring entrepreneurs to place up a trailblazing company built on their peoples’ loyalty, trust, and respect.

Also present within the launch was ‘dreamagineer’ and AIM-DBI executive Mr. Prim Paypon, founding father of a non-profit organization called The Dream Project PH. He shared that through HIIGENE, qualified start-ups have the prospect to hone their leadership skills and grow their businesses through a 3-month long AIM-DBI mentorship program.

Also, up to three companies are often awarded cash grants of up to PHP 500,000 each to fund their businesses. Truly, this collaboration is SCPA’s purposeful thanks to function a channel of blessing to Filipinos who aspire to make positive change in society.

The accelerator program’s activities are ready and scheduled for the remainder of the year. Interested start-ups from AIM-DBI’s pool of 2018 alumni to 2021 enrollees may send their applications starting April 1 until April 30. These applications will undergo a rigid screening to form sure the grant is going to be awarded to those that fit the core philosophy of both SCPA and AIM-DBI. From June to October, the grants will be awarded while a culminating activity will be created to spotlight the winner’s progress.

This philosophy-designed program was monumental for SCPA and coincides with AIM-DBI’s 3rd anniversary this month. The collaboration of those two organizations strengthens their respective belief in creating meaningful human impact through local businesses.

Prim Paypon shared, “What sets HIIGENE aside from other grants are these: First, this is often the sole time an area company is collaborating with a graduate school incubator work with startups as a pioneering business-academe-and-startup partnership. Second, once you mention financial grants or competition grants here and abroad, we always talk about the innovation of the merchandise or the technology; you rarely encounter – and doubtless, this is often the primary of its kind within the Philippines – where the main target of the grant goes back to the people that keep the corporate thriving and growing. These set #HIIGENE aside from the remainder of the financial grants.”

Reaching its silver anniversary despite recent economic challenges is not an easy feat. For Sanitary Care Products Asia, there are no better thanks to celebrating 25 years of success than giving back — not only because it’s the proper thing to try to do – but because it shares and honors a philosophy that allowed them to achieve this accomplishment: Putting people first.
