  1. Azzam – 592′ – This unique vessel was commissioned by Mubarak Saad Al Ahbabi, who was quite secretive about his special project. Built by the leading superyacht yard, Lurssen, this amazing superyacht was completed in only 3 years, which is very quick for a vessel of such magnitude. The superyacht was launched in April 2013 and it can hit 30 knots, which is incredible, while the décor is out of this world, as you can imagine. There aren’t that many images of the interior, as the owner likes to keep a low profile, but this incredible superyacht is about as good as it gets.
  2. Fulk Al Salamah – 583′ – Built by Mariotti Yachts, this very special superyacht is clouded in mystery, even the length had to be estimated using GPS technology, and the owner is believed to be the Omani Royal family. First announced in 2014, the Fulk Al Salamah was completed in less than 3 years and much like Azzam, there is not much information about this incredible vessel, other than we know it has a helipad and a swimming pool. One can only imagine what luxuries are onboard this floating palace and what tech has been incorporated in the design. While you might not be able to afford such a superyacht, there is a leading yacht dealership in Phuket, Thailand where you can view a wide range of catamarans, yachts and superyachts, both new and used.

The Eclipse – 533′ – Built by the prestigious Blohm & Voss shipyard, the Eclipse is a stunning example of modern engineering that was commissioned by none other than Roman Abromovich, the billionaire who owns Chelsea Football Club and he took delivery in 2010. The Dubai – 351′ – Designer Andrew Winch put his heart and soul into this incredible vessel, which was originally commissioned by Prince Jefri Bolkiah of Brunei as a joint project with Lurssen and Blohm & Voss, yet production was halted in 1998 and the hull was sold to Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the current ruler of Dubai. The project was taken over by Platinum Yachts and the superyacht was delivered in 2006 as a private boat for the royal family and the vessel can accommodate 27 guests, with a full crew of 88. This seven-deck superyacht includes a helipad, a swimming pool and even a submarine, which is mind-boggling.
  5. Dilbar – 511′ – Another classy build by Lurssen, the Dilbar was delivered to its owner in 2016 and after a few years, was put in for refit in 2020 and who knows what that will involve? The vessel has an 82ft swimming pool, which is the longest on a superyacht and with two helicopter pads, guests can arrive for the exclusive party.

A top-end superyacht would take at least 3 years to complete and if you have a few tens of millions sitting in the bank, why not? Failing that, there are quality used and new yachts for sale that will suit a more modest budget and they can be found with a simple online search.
