The city of Auburn, Alabama, is best-known for being the home of Auburn University and is a historic college town.
Auburn is the largest city in eastern Alabama, but again much of that is thanks the university with over a quarter of the city’s population finding their employment at the school.

Grab one of the signature sandwiches, including Momma’s Love Sandwich, which has roast beef, ham, and hickory-smoked turkey, plus Muenster cheese. There’s also Momma’s Bambino Sandwich, with ham, salami, pepperoni, and provolone cheese.
There are also delicious grilled wraps: Asian Chicken, Chicken Caesar, Beef Burrito, Momma’s Love (similar to the sandwich version), and the Bull Rider Wrap (roast beef, melted shredded cheddar, lettuce, tomato, and BBQ sauce).

BurgerFi specializes in, well, burgers, of course. And they know what they’re doing.
The menu is simple and effective, with burgers, sides, and shakes and not much else. The burgers to choose from include the Conflicted Burger, which includes both a vegetarian patty and a beef patty, and the Breakfast All-Day Burger, which includes bacon, maple syrup, fried egg, hash browns, and grilled onions.
Outside of burgers, hot dogs are the other main entree. Side items include fries and onion rings, and the portion sizes are ample.

If you want to do Greek without leaving your office, hotel room, or home, then consider Taziki’s.
Taziki’s has a laundry list of Mediterranean fare, including plenty of gyros, sandwiches, and large platters with protein such as lamb, pork loin, salmon, tilapia and shrimp.
There are daily specials available, including the Chicken Portobello Sandwich and the the Roasted Pork Loin sandwiches. If you’re feeding the whole family, there are family meals available, or simply add a kid’s meal or two onto your order.

Newk’s Eatery is a versatile sandwich shop that offers sandwiches of all sizes and from all cultures.
Missing New Orleans? Try a Shrimp Po’Boy. What about a healthy, homemade feel? Look no further than the Chicken Pesto Sandwich. There’s also chicken salad and a host of “normal” sandwich options.
And it isn’t just sandwiches at Newk’s either. You can grab an artisan pizza or a hearty boal of macaroni and cheese, or pair any two items together and get a great deal.

If you want something a bit more high-end that will fill you up but not entirely break the bank, than take a closer look at Hamilton’s menu.
You can order up seared scallops, filet mignon or chicken provencal and have it right to your door in short order. If you’re feeling slightly less … fancy, than grab the pork tenderloin, shrimp & grits, or even just the house club or the burger.
There’s a soup calendar to choose from, too, along with meals for the kiddos and plenty of side items and desserts.
