You may act as a plumber at home for simple fixes in your plumbing system but sometimes, it isn’t enough to just tying rubber around your faucet when it’s leaking. Here are the nasty truths why you should hire a professional plumber:

1. Dripping Faucets

This is the most common problem at home and even the most ignored. Before leaving the CR, check if the faucet is still dripping. Aren’t you concerned with mother nature? We’re seriously running out of water, so face the simple problem, Roto-Rooter Philippines is one call away.

2.  Leaky Pipes

Ever notice small puddles under the pipes? The joints of the pipes usually have leaks. There are easy fixations like tying a rubber around it, or too lazy and just tie packaging tape around the joint several times. But the leaky pipe is still there, have a professional plumber to permanently repair it. Roto-Rooter Philippines has the right tools and pipe fittings to fix your pipes.

3. Roots in the Pipes

Roto-Rooter said that the tree and shrub roots require oxygen and water to grow. Growth rate is variable and is affected by the soil depth, water supply, aeration, mineral supply and temperature. Then what will happen? “If not disturbed, the roots will completely fill the pipe with multiple hair-like root masses at each point of entry. The root masses quickly become clogged with toilet tissue, grease and other debris flowing from homes and businesses to the main sewer, resulting in reduced flow and slowed drains. A complete blockage may occur if the roots are not removed and root growth impeded,” Roto-Rooter added.

4. Low Water Pressure

This is completely annoying especially when you’re in a rush to go to work. You may need a new showerhead or hidden leak in your home. You may do this yourself, track the loose pipes, you can clean aerators and shower heads of sediment and deposits, however, when all else fails, it’s time to call a plumber.

5. Stinky Smell

This is nasty, right? The bad odor can breed in your bathroom, drainage or garbage disposer.  Roto-Rooter reminded, “Plumbing systems are designed to prevent foul odors from entering the house by means of the trap attached to fixtures. Traps contain water to seal out foul odors; if the water seal evaporates, the odors enter the house. To solve this problem, pour a bucket of water in each trap, sink, shower and floor drain. This will prevent the odors from entering the house.”

6. Clogged Drains

This one’s even nastier especially when the toilet is clogged. What happens when you surprisingly have visitors coming in? A trusty plunger can fix the problem, temporarily, because it can’t completely solve the problem. Drainage in the kitchen sink? Prevent it, how? Rigorously scrape the nitty-gritty food excess from your plates and cookware before washing. Throw it in a kitchen garbage bowl.

Keeping your house clean and odor-free is refreshing to live in after all in a day’s work. Your home is an investment, as well as, keeping your house clean with perfect plumbing system is an investment.
